Cover Letter 又稱為求職信、應徵信。它不是用來敘述生平故事的自傳，更像是一封隨著這封履歷一起送到公司手中的開場白。用 A4 左右的篇幅向人資與雇主大聲的推銷你自己，拋出最誘人的鉤子，吸引他們點開你的履歷。
Cover Letter (求職信) 要怎麼寫？
求職信最重要的是告訴人資與雇主兩件事：（一）你為什麼想在這家公司工作（二）你可以為公司帶來什麼價值。你可以透過簡單的起承轉合公式，完整的敘述你的故事：禮貌開場 ➪ 展現優勢 ➪ Call-to-action (CTA) 結尾
1. 禮貌開場
打招呼 ➪ 說明你寫信的目的 ➪ 一句話寫出你的特點
例子：
Dear [Hiring Manager’s First Name + Last Name],
I’m writing to express my interest in your recent listing for the Digital Marketing Specialist position at [Company Name] in [Location]. I have 5 years of experience executing market research, analyzing consumer data, and running A/B testing to drive successful digital marketing campaigns.
2. 展現優勢
孔雀展示優勢 ➪ 強調自己做足功課 ➪ (加分) 與公司的淵源
- 孔雀展示優勢：說明自己過往的經驗與公司方向如何匹配，例如你過去做過與公司產業和業務相關的研究、工作專案甚至是個人事業要如何在公司發揮價值。
- 強調自己做足了功課：說明自己想要加入公司的原因
- 說出你與公司的淵源：例如你參加過公司所舉辦的徵才或 networking 活動，認識了哪些人，因而對公司的文化感到印象深刻。
例子：
For the last 3 years I have been working for [Current Company], where I’ve honed my skills by running numerous successful digital marketing campaigns. During the time here, I led a series of digital promotion campaigns for the company’s new line of business and raised our total online engagement by 30% and reached conversion of over 15% within the first 4 months, contributing to the company's annual goal.
As your digital marketing specialist position requires expertise similar to mine, I’m confident that my proven track record will allow me to immediately contribute to the team’s success.
3. Call-to-action (CTA) 結尾
